FILDA 2022: Promises conditions to attract young national entrepreneurs

"Disruptive Technologies as a Factor of Economic Development🇧🇷 This will be the theme of the 2022 edition of Luanda International Fair (FILDA), which will take place next July, from the 12th to the 16th, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE).

According to the company Eventos Arena, organizer of the event, this 2022 edition aims to provide special conditions to attract young national entrepreneurs interested in getting to know other markets, as well as leveraging business and selling products, through a reduction of up to 70% for the participation of startups.

This year's edition will also include training and qualification seminars for young entrepreneurs in the field of innovation and information technologies, on its agenda for the event, which will be called Angola Startup Summit 2022, which for Dalva Ringote, Secretary of State for the Economy, is “a business opportunity, sharing visions and business strategies”.

It should also be noted that for this edition, the 37th, the new version of the “Made in Angola” website will be presented, which the news reports has been reformulated to present itself as a support service for non-national production and to add other products and national services.

As for the numbers, Arena Eventos revealed that it will invest close to 275 million kwanzas in FILDA 2022, which is the biggest business exchange in Luanda, and where it is expected that there will be a turnover of 500 million kwanzas or more, putting as the goal of “doubling or tripling the amount invested”, emphasizes the organizer. Also in this edition, more than 600 companies are expected to participate, including national and international ones. As of the closing of this article, 275 companies and institutions have already been confirmed, 89 of which belong to diplomatic missions from nine countries: Portugal, Italy, Namibia, South Africa, Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, China and South Korea.
