The war against continues.

We started with campaigns against Internet Explorer 6 (Internet Lord have your soul), we went through Internet Explorer 7 and now we have reached 8.

Yes, Google has announced that it will not support Internet Explorer 8 for its applications and online services, which include Gmail, Search, Youtube... from the second week of November (15 of November, to be more exact)

Who will be sad about this news?

A million of Angolans still using Windows XP. To remember, XP users can only upgrade internet explorer to the 8 version. According to an official Google publication:

"After this date, users who access Google Apps services using Internet Explorer 8 will see a message recommending that they update their browser."

Solution

If you use Windows XP, you will need to migrate to another browser as  Mozilla Firefox , Google Chrome or Opera.

It's more of a google move to promote Chrome in a very sublime way ... and sure to be all right.
