  • FaceTime - Picture in Picture: Usually when the user is on a call on FaceTime, if the user decides to use another application while the call continues, it happened that the video was paused, but on iOS 14, this no longer happens thanks to the Picture in Picture option, where you can use your phone normally while chatting.
  • Compact phone calls: Fed up with calls taking up the entire iPhone screen and interrupting what you are doing? If your iPhone is unlocked and in use, incoming calls now appear as a small banner that can be touched to expand it or slid away, being little more than a passing nuisance.
  • AppLibrary:  It's a one-stop shop for all your apps, and it's one of those features that makes you wonder why the iPhone hadn't put it on before. You can find any of your installed applications on the AppLibrary, and this allows the user to get rid of the home screen pages and hide applications if desired, for a much more organized iPhone interface.
  • Standard third-party applications: Tired of clicking left-wing and open them on Safari instead of no Chrome or any other? On iOS 14, the user can set up email and default browser applications to no longer be forced to open links and write messages in Apple's Safari and Mail apps.
  • Application search: Apple has made search better in this version, and now when you enter a search term, you can scroll down to the “Search in apps” section and touch an app to automatically start a search for that app. The user can search notes, reminders, mail, files, messages, the App Store and much more. Application search was on iOS 13, but the feature in the new version is expanded and more organized.
  • Approximate location sharing: Many apps are avid for their location data, and on iOS 14, Apple has a new privacy option to allow you to use location-based features while hiding your exact location. Applications like those that provide information about the weather do not need to know exactly where you are, so you can now choose to share an approximate location instead of an exact location.
  • Search of emojis: The Mac has long had a small search interface for finding emojis, and now Apple has finally brought that same emoji search option to the iPhone. Just tap the emoji icon (or globe) and then tap the emoji search bar to find the exact character you are looking for.
  • Dictation on device: On iOS 14, the saying now gets better over time, as you use your device with all the learning done directly on the iPhone, rather than through Apple's servers. All processing is now done offline, so when you dictate a text message, note or email to your iPhone, it remains on the device.
  • Back Tap: With Back tap, the user can double or triple tap the back of the iPhone to perform actions such as taking a screenshot, accessing the Control Center, changing the volume and more. It is an accessibility feature, but anyone can use it.
  • Sound Recognition: Another accessibility feature, sound recognition is a useful feature for those who are hard of hearing as it allows the iPhone to hear sounds like fire alarms, smoke, pets, bells, running water, screams and more. It is very accurate and sends a notification whenever the iPhone detects a sound.
  • Exposure lock: Serious photographers using the iPhone to take photos will be pleased to know that the new version of iOS allows an exposure compensation amount to be blocked for an entire photo or video session with separate controls available to block the camera's focus and focus. exposure for a single photo.
  • HomeKit Control Center: Your favorite scenes from HomeKit can be accessed on control Center on iOS 14, in addition to having an interface HomeKit that you can access with a touch to make it easier than ever to control smart home products.
  • Custom widgets: Apple added widgets to the home screen on iOS 14, so you can place them on the iPhone's main screen. Better yet, Apple created Stacks widget, so that you can create a space widget on the home screen that houses several widgets between which you can slide.
  • QuickTake video: Do you have an iPhone XR or iPhone XS? Good news, on iOS 14, you can use the video feature QuickTake that Apple added to the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. You can hold down the capture button in photo mode to capture a quick video without taking precious seconds to switch to video mode. On iOS 14, QuickTake it also works with the Volume Down button.
