Even today, if someone asked me how many Angolan users Facebook has, my answer would be “no more than 800 thousand“, But fortunately, to my amazement we already have 1.060.000 Angolans on the social network of Zuckerberg and company. I believe that this sudden growth is due to the popularization of smartphones and the 3G internet, which even with its network problems and supposed pricing problems, is fulfilling its role.
This news will appeal to Angolan Digital Marketing agencies as well as companies and even individuals who use Facebook for business. But other news that at least for me is no longer so good is that almost two-thirds of the total users are men, as you can see in the images that follow.
We are still far from other African countries, such as Egypt (13 millions of users) and South Africa (5 million users) but we will soon get there.
