At an event held by Microsoft aimed at the education / teaching segment, the company just announced the new Windows 10S. Which brings some news compared to standard Windows 10.
The new Windows 10S is the natural successor to RT Windows and will only run applications that are in the Windows Store (a full version of the Office suite for this version will soon be available). Microsoft guarantees that this will be an even more secure system, with no need to install third-party applications outside the company's application store.
According to information, the letter "S" in this version is supposed to be simple. Since, this version of Windows 10 does not need any special hardware. Windows 10 S can run on any computer that has the requirements to work with standard Windows 10.
Condition for installing third-party applications:
For users who want to use this version and want to install applications outside the Microsoft store, we have the bad news: they will have to switch between Windows 10S and Windows 10 (default). This will be the only way to install applications outside the Microsoft application store.
Price and Partnerships:
Windows-based 10 S computers targeted at the education / teaching segment will be available from 189 USD (equivalent to 31.250,00 kwanzas no change of the National Bank of Angola).
Microsoft has announced partnerships with several brands that Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Samsung e Toshiba.
