In recent times XBox One has lost the battle against PlayStation 4 in almost every country. In England for example the Playstation 4 is selling 50% more than XBox One.
Many are just pointing out the considerably higher price of Microsoft console compared to the Sony console as the main reason for the current situation in the battle between the two consoles.
Microsoft seems to have decided to change its strategy a little bit, at least as far as the market in England is concerned, as it has announced a price reduction for Xbox One in this country. In other words, from this Friday the Xbox One will no longer cost £ 429,99 and will only cost £ 399.99 which represents a decrease of £ 30. Despite this considerable price reduction the XBox One will continue to be £ 50 more expensive than the PlayStation 4 however the Xbox One already comes with Kinect 2 while the Eye Camera of the Playstation 4 is sold separately for a price of around £ 55, that is in practice the Xbox One will be slightly cheaper than the PlayStation 4 for those who also want to have the Eye Camera. There are however no indications that Microsoft will lower the price of the console in other countries but it is expected to do so should the results of this low price on your majesty's land be positive.
If a price drop so shortly after its release is already a measure to take into account what about the offer of one of the Xbox One games that promises to sell more? Microsoft has demonstrated that it is not for fun and together also announced the release of a limited edition of Xbox One that will bring the game Titanfall totally free. 11 March, which is when this special edition is released, you can buy an XBox One at the normal price and receive the Titanfall as an extra beyond the usual command and Kinect 2, and all at a reduced price if it is in England.
It is not yet known what the market reaction will be to this price and offer fall of the Titanfall game. Many believe that Microsoft, by reducing the price in England, will certainly exceed the sales of Playstation 4 in that country but will lose ground in others, since many will be the ones in Europe who prefer to have the console of England come through a family or friend instead of buying it in your own country.
