Microsoft says it will no longer force users to upgrade Windows

2772

Many users have been dissatisfied with the Microsoft for forcing them to upgrade Windows, but it seems that this chapter has come to an end, as the company has made a new statement:

Microsoft has promised to stop its practice of forcing downloads as part of a case raised in the German court, related to Windows 10.

A Microsoft received some negative feedback during its campaign to automatically download update files to customers' computers without their consent. Now, the lawsuit filed in German courts has made Microsoft of Germany promise never to force downloads of installation files again.

O if it was originally released on 2016 by the German consumer protection agency, and this week the agency announced the success in getting Microsoft to voluntarily agree to prevent the practice of forcing downloads without consent, nullifying the need for a decision court.

Thus, it is noted that Microsoft long ago lost its automatic update system of the new version of the operating system, moving from free updates to Windows 10 to now download the operating system.

Do you agree with this decision?
