The European Commission has plans to start investigating the Microsoft regarding the Teams communication service, advances the political website based on the reports of four people close to the subject.
This investigation will start with a complaint filed by rival Slack in 2020 where Microsoft was accused of “Illegally call” Teams to Office, a practice that it considers to be a threat to the principles of competition.

A spokesperson for the European Commission said that “an assessment is underway” of this complaint, not indicating, however, whether the regulatory authority intends to proceed with a full investigation.
