It is taking place in San Francisco the Microsoft event for the launch of the new Windows.
When everyone expected the launch of the successor to Windows 8.1, Microsoft decided to change its development cycle (and naming), ushering in a new era, Windows 10.
What's new?
- As expected, we have the return of “Start menu“, With the options that desktop users are familiar with. According to Microsoft, Windows 10 has some elements similar to Windows 7 combined with the design of Windows 8.
- Was improved Windows search system. We can now do a universal search from the Start Menu and get results from the Web.
- Windows 10 will have multiple work environments and for that Microsoft has improved the way of managing applications in these environments. The functionality for this is “Snap Assist”:

Will there be a version of Windows 10 specific for mobile devices?
Not! Windows 10 will work for both PCs and mobile devices, as rumors pointed out. Then the "Windows Phone" development phase ends and we are left with "Windows".
