Apparently, VAIO decided to step out of its comfort zone a bit, since it has had more notoriety in the Laptop's segment, now it decided to roll up its sleeves a little, thus preparing a new smartphone that will be launched in Japan soon.

This VAIO smartphone will have a silver aluminum construction with a glossy finish, unlike the sober plastic construction of Microsoft's latest Lumia, this smartphone will have a 1080 inch 5,5p LCD screen, the camera is 13 megapixels, and inside there are 3 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (which is not top notch), but supports the system Continuum and you won't have fingerprint sensors and USB-C ports.

The VAIO smartphone will go on sale in April of this year in Japan, with a value of ¥ 50.000 (Yen is the currency used in Japan) equivalent to US $ 425.

There is no confirmation that the smartphone will be sold in other countries, particularly Angola, but if Microsoft decides not to launch more smartphones, especially in the USA, perhaps VAIO could take advantage of the situation to gain ground.

What did you think of this VAIO smartphone?
