On February 28 the KiandaHub facilities received digital entrepreneurs, developers, enthusiasts ... for yet another knowledge sharing session. This session was organized by the Startup Angola Association, or rather, Startup Angola Community.
The first year of Startup Dojo began with the presentation of Seeing Norton, which showed how the association was created.
Next we had a session of picthes, that is to say, a period in which several representatives of startups present their projects. In this session we have two Startups:
1. Creative, Inc - represented by Firmino Changane (Flowck II), who showed a new version of the application “Girabola".
2. Kwanza Online - Célio Garcia's project / startup once again deserved the Featured this event.
The second Speaker of the day was the representative of Microsoft, Tim Benroek, who spoke about the Startups Ecosystem in the USA, giving helpful advice to everyone who has a startup and intend to take the next step.
Then we had the Aniceto de Carvalho, the representative of the MwangoBrain , startup Angolan company that has been doing quite interesting projects. What would be a Pitch of a few minutes, became a very interesting presentation with the revelation of the future projects.
Before the end of the first part of the event, Mauro Yange talked about B2B Business Models, showing the advantages of this type of model for the success of startups.
To start the second period, we had Clausen Politano representing Microsoft Angola, with the theme: Microsoft Tools for Startups. The speaker focused on topics such as Microsoft BizParkMicrosoft Ventures.
There was still time for a lively conversation about payment solutions for startups , with several contributions.
But the event could not end without a programming session. It was once again to the guest Célio Garcia, showing the steps for creating mobile apps with PhoneGap.
