It has recently emerged that the Angolan Government is in the process of implementing the mobile payment system. Notwithstanding this, we have some private services in Angola that have shown notoriety. Still, many have not seen difference between them, we are talking about the: Kwanza Online, e-kwanza of the Bank BAI,  Xikila Money Banco Postal, and the BNIX of BNI Bank.

But after all, what's the difference between them?

Briefly, in order to demonstrate the difference between them, we will mention the type of services that each company offers:

Kwanza Online

It is the first Angolan online payment service, allowing Angolans to make purchases in Angolan stores that already practice e-Commerce, thus facilitating the buying and selling process in the national territory.

The Kwanza Online is that not a Multicaixa in your computer, allowing the Angolans and not only, to recharge their mobile phones (UNITEL and MOVICEL), to pay the subscription of ZAP, NetOne, and perhaps other services from your computer.

This service offers three types of accounts:

  • Personal account

Who creates a personal account are the natural persons in whom they are willing to make online purchases.

  •  Account cthe mercy

This account is for merchants, meaning all those who have stores and would like to receive payments online.

e-kwanza

The service "e-Kwanza "of the BAI Bank , allows customers to make money transfers anywhere in the country, using only their mobile phone.

To take advantage of this service, it is not necessary to be a BAI customer, but you will have to register (free of charge) at a BAI counter and activate your user through an Interactive Voice Server (IVR) from which the instructions given by customers will be confirmed. and sent by SMS to them. In other words, our "account" will be associated with a phone number and a code provided by the bank.

With this service you can:

  • Deposit, raise and transfer money to other mobile phones;
  • Pay bills at stores or pay utility bills.

After joining, using your mobile phone, it will be possible to make transfers to other customers who have the service "e-Kwanza BAI" in a quick way, without going to a counter and facing the famous queues.

Xikila Money

Xikila Money is a service that brings an innovative offer in Angola, that is, it allows you to use your mobile phone as a digital wallet and, based on that, make several payments via mobile.

This service transforms the mobile phone into a bank account and gives the user the possibility to carry out bank transactions conveniently and safely at any time of the day.

What can you do with the Xikila Money service?

This platform allows the user to make payments for various services, such as:

  • Cash deposit.
  • Transfer money to other Xikila accounts.
  • Transfer and receive money from accounts of other banks.
  • Pay the bills of television, energy, water, mobile phone, internet.
  • Pay for purchases of goods and services.
  • Raise money.

For a person to start using the Xikila Money service it is necessary to open an account at a Xikila Money agency or kiosk (free account opening) and make a deposit in the Xikila account.

BNIX

BNIX is Banco BNI's service that allows you to manage your money every day. Very easy to use, totally secure and free of charge, BNIX allows you to make payments, bank transfers, consult account balances. Everything, through your mobile phone.

This service offers two types of accounts:

  • Customer Account

It allows any users to go to a BNI agency, join and deliver the money they want to deposit into the BNIX account. That's it! Simple, fast and safe.

  • Merchant Account

It allows the entrepreneur to register his business by signing the contract of adhesion in any BNI agency. You can immediately accept payments from BNIX.

Therefore, in this way we can see the difference between each of these services, in which we find a certain similarity between the services Xikila Money, e-kwanzaAnd BNIX since both use the mobile platform, different from the Kwanza Online.

Do we clarify your doubts regarding these four services?
