Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S8 at an event in New York, the 29 March, this year the Galaxy S9 came earlier and was during one of the largest technology events worldwide, the Mobile World Congress 2018.

How to do this? Just point the camera at something written in a foreign language, and S9 will output to the language of the user's choice. You may have seen this feature on Google Translate.
68 IP Certification
For those who constantly drops the smartphone in the water already know that Samsung has kept the IP 68 certification, which gives the chance to leave the phone in the water up to 1,5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes, this is one more of the rumors confirmed in the Galaxy S9.
Software
Android 8.0 (Oreo) comes pre-installed. A software implementation for the camera, super slow motion which writes to 960 frames per second, but only by 0,2 second. Virtual Assistant brings a novelty, Bixby Vision, which uses the camera to show information of wines and sights, as well as translate a photo in real time.
Extras
The new version of Dex (named Dex Pad) confirms Samsung's intention to turn the Galaxy S into a workstation. Even because 6GB of RAM could not be wasted with undemanding activities, right?
Price and availability
United States - pre-order starts on March 2nd, while deliveries will be made on March 16th.
There is still some divergence in prices that will be practiced by Samsung, but it is expected that they will round the 790 USD to 915 USD.
There is also an option to upgrade, Samsung is offering an exchange program for the current owners of Galaxy smartphones. From Samsung's website, users will be able to sell the Galaxy S8 for 350 USD and add the money to buy the S9.
