For almost two months the Skype announced the arrival of the translator in real time, which initially included only the languages: English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish. Now we have the good news, the Portuguese language has been included.
According to Skype, the software will work with the machine learning, so the more it is used, the better the translations will be.
The translator works in a very simple way: waiting while a user speaks, he listens and translates the message and then transmits it in Portuguese to the other user, providing a better understanding. With the simultaneous translator you can also convert words to text when translating, it is also useful in helping people with hearing impairments. In addition to it, the application also has a text message translator that can support around 50 different languages, including Portuguese.
