Most base stations in Switzerland are deployed at a single pole. While 5G deployment continues, Sunrise UPC maintains existing 2G, 3G and 4G sites, leaving major challenges in antenna space, wind resistance and tower roll. Site adjustment requires a building permit if the antenna space differs from the original site in length, and this can take months or even years.
