Technological investments, as well as the program of the Angolan Executive called Simplifies 1.0, reduced the time for issuing license plates to motor vehicles from seven to three days, according to the words of the Head of the Institutional Communication and Press Department, Chief Superintendent Adriano do Rosário.

The spokesperson of that department gave this information in the meeting that his institution held with the representatives of brands and car dealerships.

According to Adriano Rosário, within the Executive program (Simplifica 1.0), DTSER made several cutting-edge technological investments to put an end to the bureaucratic process, as well as corruption or bribery (gasosa).

The said meeting also served to provide an explanatory note on the constraints that may arise, but above all it highlights the benefits of the system that ended the face-to-face work of concessionary agents in processing documents and payments to the State.

For the Chief Commissioner, processes are currently submitted online, as has been the case for some years, but the novelty is that payments are now made to the Single Treasury Account via transfer at automatic terminals, which ended the physical presence of users.

"The new system allows the applicant to do everything from his office or residence, in a process that lasts three days until the registration is delivered, as opposed to the previous seven days when paying in person,” said the Chief Superintendent.

On the other hand, as for the new registration models for the country, he said, it is an ongoing process, which already has four companies approved for the import of the equipment and that at the moment the public tender for the companies that will manufacture and apply it is still underway. enrollments starting next year.

It should be noted that, as the editors of MenosFios had already informed, the Angolan automobile civil society will soon receive a new range of number plates, equipped with a QR code, which the National Police says will ensure greater reliability in controlling road traffic in the country.
