Vodacom Mozambique was the big winner of the 17th Edition of the VMware 2021 for Africa, an award that distinguishes the outstanding achievements of its customers in solving business problems using VMware technology, reveals the Mozambican newspaper O País.
Vodacom's representative in that country was considered the winner for having provided superior digital voice and data solutions, based on the development of agile and flexible applications for the growing customer base.
This award is given annually and only for VMware customers, who are nominated and evaluated by a global committee, based on criteria that reflect the VMware EPIC values, as well as the Code of Leadership. Vodacom Mozambique won for its values of Efficiency, Execution, Innovation and Vision.

It should also be noted that for this 2021 edition, companies from more than 20 countries were nominated, with Vodacom de Mozambique being the only winner for the African continent. Still on this award, won by the Mozambican institution, a case study was recently carried out on the theme "Vodacom Mozambique keeps the country connected with the VMware cloud”, which is expected to be published next year.
