After your sale to Facebook for about 19 billion of US dollars, the great news is announced by the founder Jan Koum. O application will get an update of  make voice calls and will leave in the second quarter of this year. This update will be the first major significant evolution after its acquisition by Facebook.

Many other messaging apps like BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), Line and Skype have been offering voice calls for some time, although WhatsApp's strength is in its size - which now stands at 330 million daily users and 465 million monthly active users . Koum said it is important to add this service because it will maintain the rapid growth of Whatsapp and will offer a set of features that allow it to be equipped with its rivals.

WhatsApp is known for its simplicity, and replaces the native application on smartphones and mobiles (SMS) on most devices. Koum did not inform which operating system will receive such an update first, we can only wait.
