O Whatsapp finally it ended up implementing the Status function in its web version, the application took a few months to bring feature to its web and desktop versions; feature has an interface similar to the version for mobile devices.
To view the Status via the computer, just have an updated version on your smartphone and, at least, version 0.2.5854 of Web WhatsApp . Temporary publications can be accessed right from the first of the three icons at the top of the screen.
The statuses will appear in list format, as well as in the mobile version, and will be organized from the most recent to the oldest.
Just like on smartphones, you can pause the Status. To do this, simply click and hold on the image that is being displayed. You can also make comments through the field at the bottom of the page.
WhatsApp's strategy in choosing to incorporate this new functionality into the web version is to increase engagement among users who did not embrace functionality as well as it did on Instagram with Stories.
It is not yet possible to create a new Status on the computer, but judging by the popularity of the resource, it will not take long. A balance sheet by Facebook pointed out that the messaging app accounts for approximately 1,3 million active users per month. Of these, 250 millions are active users of Status.
