WhatsApp will sync conversations between iPhone and Android

One of the great nightmares of those who migrate from Android protocols for iOS (or vice versa) is related to the WhatsApp - losing important conversation histories is something that, many times, ends up resulting in even giving up this migration.

However, according to the WABetaInfo website, the complexity of this makes the application work in parts. And one of them will be to synchronize the message history of the same account between devices on Android and iOS simultaneously. Users will be able to follow the conversations held between the various operating systems without losing any information.

When available, WhatsApp must require that the device be connected to a Wi-Fi network for the migration to be carried out, possibly due to the amount of data that will be rescued (images, videos, files and more).

WhatsApp's intention with this new service is to allow up to four devices to be able to use the same account at the same time, including the desktop version of the application. WABetaInfo tested the synchronization feature on the Desktop, however, it must also reach mobile devices.

Additionally, Whatsapp reported that it is also working on an application completely built from scratch and dedicated to the iPad. This application can only be launched when the multi-platform capability is fully functional.

In this way, users with iPhone and Android devices will finally be able to enjoy their conversations on the apple branded tablet for the first time. There is still no date, however, for the application to be updated with the change.
