The main purpose of Seedstars is iboosting business growth and solutions by bringing together in the same space, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in technology areas in emerging markets and in business acceleration contexts. The initiative was hosted by the Mozambican company UX, and in addition to the presentation of each startup, it had several presentations whose themes included: construction of technological ecosystems, transformation from an informal to a formal market or the growth of a system without technology for a high-tech.

Around the 800 event people passed from young students, entrepreneurs, international investors and local strategic partners. The Seedstars Africa Summit surpassed the technological scope, not only because of its international approach and the references that led to Maputo, but mainly because of the quality it required of each participant.

The solutions presented have been to respond to problems such as education in Kenya, health in Nigeria, deliveries in Angola, lease in Congo, unite farmers in Ghana, or respond to transport problems in Zimbabwe.

The content was thought out in detail and sharing of knowledge was not left to the experience of each entrepreneur and expanded to workshops on women's empowerment, technological development opportunities in Africa or management of resources that provided greater interaction by the entire public .
