Update: After the publication of this article, the tournament organization launched a new update of the rules. This article has been edited to show the latest tournament rules. The tournament organization also revealed that the name of the player who will replace Nuno Antunes as captain will only be revealed in the tournament itself.

Last night the Kwata Kwata tournament organization released a new CoD tournament rules document: MW2 "Kwata Kwata 2". In this update the tournament organization added rules regarding coatching and the use of headphones / earphones / headphones to play. In this new update the organization of the tournament also revealed that maps and modes will be played in each round of the tournament.

Here are the updated tournament rules and the new rules are highlighted in blue:

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. By registering in this tournament all players assume that they have read the rules, enderam, and that they will be followed.

2. Any form of cheating, glitching, abuse of game mechanics, or behavior

may result in a penalty of a Map, Departure, or Ban.

3. Punishable unsportsmanlike conduct includes, but is not limited to, excessive use of obscene or degrading language. In addition, breaking any rule can result in a fine of a Round, Map, loss of a warning or Ban.

4. Any attempt to coach will result in loss of points for the team of the player who is assisting. Ex: I help a friend giving tips where the enemies are, my team loses points.

5. All players must use HeadPhones or normal headphones, if they do not they should remain with the sound off

 

General rules

Forbidden = Dolphin Diving

Forbidden = Second Chance, last stand, Martydom

Forbidden = Any type of Launcher with the exception of Stinger.

Nuke killstreak is banned in TDM (Team DeathMatch).

Allowed = Jump while firing.

Allowed = All weapons and equipment.

Victory = 3 points.

Draw = 1 point.

Defeat = 0 points.

The Captain's Role

The captain's job is to form a competitive team with available players. The choice will be made by turns, based on raffles. After the team is formed, the group goes to the polls and is elected team leader, who will be in charge of creating the strategy.

1. Map Test, for about 30 seconds, to determine if Host is acceptable with all players competing (test the connection). If it is determined that the Host is not acceptable, try a new host. Map tests should be played using one type of game and the map that teams are not programmed to play.

Important Considerations

After the first minute of play any connectivity issues that are not caused by third parties, Will not force the game to restart. Eg the fall of a table.

In case of a bug in the game, it should follow normally. ex: almost at the end of the capture of a HQ this restarts.

In case any player experiences any technical difficulties before the game, a hold will be made, however the other games will continue. If one of the other teams finishes the game the team with technical difficulties will be forced to play without the said player. If the game mode is TDM (Team DeathMatch) the team automatically loses the map.

Any game will only be stopped if an admin does it formally. Otherwise this will follow normally.
