If you have a cell phone Android and always envied the AirDrop available in iPhones, then you'll be happy to know that Google has introduced a new feature that will be exactly what you've been waiting for.
The functionality is called Quick Share and was developed in conjunction with Samsung. The two companies already had their own fast file sharing services, but, with this initiative, the two functionalities were 'mixed' into a single proposal.
BUT: Chinese manage to bypass AirDrop security
As with iPhones, you'll be able to see which Android devices nearby can exchange files with more quickly.
The launch of Quick Share has already started and will continue until February for users who have their own Nearby Share Google.
