In 2017 Angola snatched nine medals at the international fair in Germany (IENA), in this edition, the ideas, inventions and products that the Angolan delegation led to this 69ª edition represented about 70% in mechatronics, with the remaining 30% for the areas of chemistry, social sciences and humanities.

The 70th edition welcomed eight hundred ideas, inventions and new products, of which 11 from Angola, were exhibited from 1 to 4 of this month, in Nuremberg, Federal Republic of Germany. The project "Clusters of workstations with virtual nodes as a low cost solution for teaching in Angola“, From Óscar Ribas University, was awarded a gold medal at the 70th edition of the Fair of Ideas, Inventions and New Products (iENA).

According to a press release, in general there were three medals, two of silver being attributed to the projects "Rescue of Culture - Software"From the Independent Higher Institute of Huíla and the" Moringa Effect on Insulin Resistance ", from the Methodist University of Angola.A iENA, is considered one of the largest platforms on ideas, inventions and new products in the world, where Angola has earned 2009 prestigious of high magnitude, justified by the 67 medals, being 12 of gold, 25 of silver and 30 of bronze and two certificates of granted to Angolan exhibitors.
For this year the country had a delegation composed of 12 participants, among technicians from the National Technological Center, inventors / creators free lancers, as well as the Center for Research in Public Policies and Local Governance of the Agostinho Neto University, Instituto Superior Independente de Huíla, Polytechnic Institute of Cunene, Agostinho Neto University, Methodist University of Angola and Óscar Ribas University.
