We stayed some time without talk about AngolanOS, the Linux distribution made in Angola, by Angolans (and which is already officially recognized by Linux.com). But don't think that we forgot about it, or that its main developer, Benone Marcos, was stopped ... quite the opposite! AngolanOS has more and more news ...
The first novelty is the proper domain of distribution: http://www.angolanos.org/
Then we have changes in the boot loader, the syslinux, which, according to the official publication:
the ability to serve as a foundation for comprehensive maintenance and troubleshooting of systems. Tools like HDT (and others on the way), will be part of the range of options in the initialization of aOS at least UBCD style.
Another addition is the graphical login screen for authentication, previously this was done only by the command line. Some many users would be frightened if that were the only option.
