Angola Telecom has been waiting for the privatization of its 45% of the share capital of the company that could happen and at any time, and the investment of more than 200 million USD for the launch of the third mobile operator in the country.

Until then, the public company was being led by a Coordinator of the Interim Management Commission Adilson Miguel Santos, who has now been appointed as Chairman of the board of directors of Angola Telecom, with the express mandate to capitalize the telecommunications company and lead it to privatization.

Angola Telecom's new Board of Directors results from the conclusion of the company's restructuring process and aims to make its capitalization and attractiveness conditions possible for subsequent privatization.
