[Angola] Unitel announces launch of 4G network on 16 in December!

Unitel 4G speeds up to 150 Mbit / s!Well, competition does not stop, after Movicel having launched its 4G network, continental debut in Cabinda (as you can see in these articles), it was time for Unitel to enter the world of high speeds, to the world 4G!

According to the official Unitel statement, extracted from its Facebook:

UNITEL launch next December 16 the network 4G which will allow access to the Mobile Internet with download speeds up to 150 Mbps.

After being the first Operator in Angola to carry out a demonstration of the 4G network, at Filda 2011, Unitel will once again be innovative in the country's Telecommunications sector, by launching services, mobile phones and data equipment with LTE technology (Long Term Evolution).

For the construction of the 4G network, Unitel has been investing in the construction of infrastructures, in the expansion of the fiber optic network, as well as in the training of Angolan staff.

In this first phase, the coverage of Unitel's 4G network is centered in Luanda, and it is already planned and in progress to create all the conditions for progressive expansion to the remaining Provinces of Angola.

Under this launch, Unitel has created 2 new data packages Net Unitel 4G: the package 30 + 30GB intended for consumption on computers and tablets, and the 2GB intended for the use of data in the mobile phone.

Unitel is also one of the first Operators to commercially launch the 4G network in Africa, thus reinforcing its leading position and innovation on the Continental scale.
