Angola will have a new internet provider, called NET G, an economic investment of more than 100 million euros from the Angolan group Galec Business in partnership with the Dutch multinational Sun Evo Holding B.

According to an official note sent to Lusa (via Jornal de Negócios ), the global investment is 111 million euros in state-of-the-art technologies, noting that in a first phase 4.100 jobs will be created, of which 1.930 are direct and the rest are indirect.

BUT: Internet breaks record in Angola in August

The presentation of the NET G service will take place at the end of this Thursday, where it will “offer differentiated and innovative solutions in the internet service segment” to various audiences of Angolan civil society, as well as “dynamization of the economy and qualification of science and teaching".

It should also be informed that the services of the new internet provider in Angola will be available, in this first phase, in 50% of the urban area of ​​Luanda and in the very short term will cover the entire extension of the Angolan capital and in the medium term it should cover the provinces of Cabinda, Benguela, Huambo, Huíla, Malanje, Cuanza Sul, Uíge, Namibe, Lunda Norte and Bengo.
