The startups present at the 3rd edition of the International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies in Angola (ANGOTIC 2023), will be challenged to present innovative and disruptive projects in the areas of health, education, mobility and agribusiness, in a contest called Accelerate Pitch.
The contest will be promoted by AngolaCables, where the winning startup will take home the prize of Two Million Kwanzas and other benefits, and competitors will have the opportunity to share their business ideas in front of a panel of successful national and international investors.
According to the organization, part of the objectives of the contest are the promotion of a platform that allows entrepreneurs to expose their projects, promote the visibility of companies in the beginning of activity and thus help them to gain credibility, guidance and financing to leverage the respective businesses, among others.

O Accelerate Pitch is open to all national entrepreneurs and developers or those living abroad, and will be evaluated by a jury made up of private and public entities, with emphasis on the Support Institute for Micro-small and Medium-Sized Companies (INAPEM).
It should be noted that more than 90 companies, out of the 150 planned, are already registered for the 2023 edition of ANGOTIC, which comes to contribute to the diversification of the national economy.
The information was revealed by the National Director of Telecommunications, Information Technologies, Matias Borges, noting that there is a "great" demand from national and international companies to participate in the event that runs from the 12th to the 14th of the current month, in Luanda, precisely at the premises of the Talatona Convention Center, under the motto “Connectivity and Technological Modernization”.
