A Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has officially launched some of its applications on Windows, which means that users with this operating system will not be as dependent on iTunes.
The apps already available for Windows are Apple TV, Apple Music and Apple devices, applications that were launched in 'preview' version last year and are now 100% available on Windows Microsoft.

The Verge website notes that these apps are available in an x86 version for Windows 10 and Windows 11, and there are still no signs of ARM64 versions for devices with Qualcomm processors.
