Apple with problems in the production of its virtual reality glasses

2078

Apple introduced in June the VisionPro, its first virtual and augmented reality glasses that represent the entry into a new market segment. Despite Apple's enthusiasm and confidence in this new product (their first since the introduction of the Apple Watch) it appears that the company is also adopting a more cautious attitude.

Says the Financial Times that Apple's goal of selling one million units of Vision Pro in the first month after launch has been reduced. Information circulating indicates that one of Apple's partners will only produce 400 units of the Vision Pro in 2024, with two other suppliers taking orders for up to 150 units for next year.

BUT: Meet the Vision Pro. Apple's Augmented Reality Glasses worth 2 Million Kwanzas

Apparently, most of the problems of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), are related to the two micro-OLED screens, with production being more complicated than other panels with different technologies.

It is still early to be certain with regard to the Vision Pro, so it is a matter of time for us to wait as Apple intends to market this first product. It is also worth remembering that Apple intends to launch a second model at a more affordable price in the future.
