A Open is a startup dedicated to education, according to Buka, education should be accessible to all, so be committed to changing lives through education.
After training new programmers for the Android platform, the startup decided to promote the first project presentation event of the Course called “Android for Visionaries".
The presentation of the event was given by Elisa Capololo. The beginning of the event also had the welcome of Carlos Jaime (founder of Buka) and Joel Epalanga (director of KiandaHub).
Presentation of projects
During 2 months, trainees had the chance to learn from the basics of programming, to techniques that allowed them to build their Android applications.
Bráulio Cassule (GDG Luanda) and Pedro Massango (Inokri) were responsible for transmitting the knowledge to potential developers.
- Jeovany Business presented the application for those who like movies, called “ViFilmes”That allows you to see the list of the most popular movies and series.
- Benção José João presented the application “Book Repository“. Application for storing digital books
- Honório Miguel José presented the application that can be applied at the Buka training school, the application is “Registration buka app“, Which allows quick enrollment of new students.
- Correia Antonio Lead presented an application that could be useful to the national police and other citizens, the application is called “Registration of Occurrences in Angola“, Which promises to be a direct link between citizens and the police.
- Helmer Capassola presented the application of public utility “Lost and found".
- Romavic Cornélio presented the application NKiambote gala (I am fine, in Portuguese) Integrated App for Health, with tips on natural medicine
The trainees had the chance to receive the certificates and in 2 months they managed to have the bases to program on the Android platform.
