With regard to the Internet access service, between April and June the total number of subscriptions was 466.279, of which 87% were provided by Small Screen Mobile Broadband technology.

"This number is due to the diversity of types of plans offered by the same“, explained the Cape Verdean regulator, noting that the number of subscriptions to the internet access service increased by around 5,5% in the second quarter of 2022, compared to the first quarter of 2022.

"And when compared to the same period last year there was an increase of 8%“, reinforced the same source, referring that the penetration rate of the internet access service in the country was around 82 per 100 inhabitants.
