As a rule, few companies are able to be present in as many business areas as Xiaomi, known mainly for its smartphones and other technological gadgets, has managed to diversify in recent years and cover new markets with different and very interesting proposals.
One area where the brand is gaining territory, at least when it comes to rumors and information, is in cars. It is known, and has already been confirmed by the brand, that it has an electric car model in preparation, which it wants to put on the road as quickly as possible, competing with all the competition, with many more years of experience.
Xiaomi SU7 will be presented tomorrow (28/12/2023)
Thanks to an announcement made by the CEO of Xiaomi via Twitter, Lei Jun. The company will have an event tomorrow, December 28th, dedicated to presenting all the technical details of this new Xiaomi product, from the electrical system that it will incorporate to the different elements of software that will make the Xiaomi SU7 a unique model. Other rumors also say that it will have at least three different models with varying range and features.
As for rumors about the models, the Xiaomi SU7 will come with HyperOS. From what is known, this vehicle should be available in two options: 73,6 kWh or 101 kWh battery pack. Regarding the model with a 73,6 kWh battery pack, it will be possible to have a range of around 628 km to 668 km in the CLTC cycle. In the case of the 101 kWh battery pack, the autonomy can reach 800 km.
In general terms, it will be 4,99 meters long, 1,96 meters wide and 1,4 meters high, weighing 1980 kg. These numbers will be supported by an electric motor of 220 kW (base version) or 275 kW of power, depending on the version chosen by the consumer.
