The co-founder and former leader of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, is leaving the company's board of directors – a moment that was expected since Dorsey stepped down as CEO in November.

"On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Jack [Dorsey] for his visionary leadership and relentless dedication to Twitter since its founding.", declared the chairman of the technology board of directors, Bret Taylor, in a statement shared by the website CNet.

Remember that Twitter is at a crucial moment in history, with the businessman Elon Musk intending to acquire the technology and with the aim of turning it back into a private company.
