A Microsoft buys Activision Blizzard for €60 billion It is a subject that has been going on for a year and there is still no sign of an outcome soon.

However, efforts continue to investigate the legality of this acquisition in depth and, more recently, the news indicates that the Microsoft could soon receive an antitrust warning from the European Union over the purchase of the popular game maker.

According to information provided by the Reuters, the company from Redmond should receive an antitrust notice from the European Union on the proposal of more than 60 billion euros to the creator of popular games such as, for example, the best-selling Call of Duty. The news was advanced by sources familiar with the matter and, therefore, the deal now faces yet another major obstacle, which could further delay its conclusion.

The advanced details indicate that the European Commission is preparing a document, called a statement of objections, where it sets out its concerns regarding the millionaire purchase. The document should be delivered to Microsoft shortly.

For its part, Microsoft commented that “We continue to work with the European Commission to address any market concerns. Our goal is to bring more games to more people and this deal will further that goal.".
