Not about you, but Gmail works like a database. Yes, it's not overly elaborate, but email services have been pioneers in this world of "clouds" (cloud computing). I can have my data on a server and access them wherever I want from my email service.
After a few years, the inbox gets a mess, many emails mixed up, so how to find a certain old email?
The solution is in the image, Gmail's advanced search, which appears by clicking the arrow that is within the search bar. Then just select "date between".
So we can always select the emails of a certain date. It's a tip that can be quite useful, do you agree?
