The new owner and current executive director (CEO) of Twitter is planning to leave the leadership of the company before the end of the year. Musk said at the World Government Summit, an event held in the United Arab Emirates, that he will look for someone else to manage the social network.

Elon Musk participated via video at the World Government Summit in Dubai, and that's when he explained that he intends to “stabilize” Twitter and “ensure that [the company] is on a financially healthy footing”. After these two goals, the executive intends to abandon the leadership of the company and let someone else take the reins.

While this isn't the first time Musk has spoken about intending to step out of the lead, it's the first time he's put an end date on that goal: “I think that towards the end of the year should be good timing to find someone to manage the company”, cites the Bloomberg.

BUT: [Rumor] Twitter will limit free use of the social network

The search for the replacement is being actively carried out at the moment, at a time when Musk's absence from Tesla is generating concern among some investors in the car manufacturer. Musk justifies that, at this stage, SpaceX and Tesla need less of his work to operate than they did three or five years ago.

It was in this forum that Musk took on the routine of working seven days a week, with six hours of sleep a day and the aspiration to have “a mere 80 hour work week".
