A Angola Cables will build two DataCenters in the near future, located in Angola and Brazil, and will serve to boost business in Nigeria and South Africa.

This information was revealed by the Commercial Director of the telecommunications company, Rui Faria, in an interview with the newspaper OPaís, emphasizing that the objective of AngolaCables is to expand the current DataCenter in Luanda, which had an occupancy rate above 80% and in Brazil to rate was exhausted, hence the need to invest in two new ones.

The manager also stressed that AngolaCables is increasingly betting on growth in Africa and countries like Brazil and the United States of America so that the business has greater weight in these markets and does not depend only on Angola.

BUT: Angola Cables wants to take Angosat-2 services to African countries

In 2022, Angola Cables achieved a turnover estimated at US$46 million, registering a 20% growth compared to 2021.

“We were able to reach the forecasted turnover for 2022, but we are still closing accounts, however, it is within what was estimated, 46 million dollars”, he concluded.
