Facebook is undoubtedly the largest and most popular social network today, it is difficult to find someone who is not or has not used it. Facebook's target audience covers the most diverse age groups, it is now known that the European Commission (EC) wants to ban (directly) Facebook to minors of 16 years, and these need the permission of parents or legal guardians to open a profile. I question the following, should Facebook be banned for minors from 18?

Such a proposal is already raising criticism on the part of the North American technologists who say that such limitations will go beyond simply creating a profile. According to the newspaper "Expansion," a source close to North American technology said:
... this ban will affect millions of children and adolescents who need to get permission from their parents to use Internet services. And it will not only open a profile on social networks, but also to use services such as email and download applications.
For now, it's just a proposal that's on the table that might well be briefly applied. As mentioned, in addition to Facebook this measure can be applied to other online services as is the case of Instagram or Snapchat.
Most of the time parents are working and end up getting oblivious to what their children are exposed when using social networks so I propose a challenge to parents to get an idea of how children have made use of social networks: Come home and in front of them ask them to unlock the devices and be surprised by the contents. Before anyone questions their privacy let me tell you that as long as you love them and want the best for them, there is no privacy as long as they are under your control and they are smaller!
