2014

The 2022 edition of Luanda International Fair (FILDA), which was supposed to start today (12) until the 16th, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), was postponed to the 16th to the 20th of this month, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP).

According to the official note from that public institution, this postponement of Angola's main economic fair is due to the period of National Mourning that the country observes until next Friday due to the physical passing of the former President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos.

BUT: Portuguese companies highlighted at the 37th FILDA, which will address Disruptive Technologies

This 2022 edition will have as its theme “Disruptive Technologies as a Factor of Economic Development“, with the aim of providing special conditions to attract young national entrepreneurs interested in getting to know other markets, as well as leveraging business and marketing products, through a reduction of up to 70% for the participation of startups.

This year's edition will also feature training and qualification seminars for young entrepreneurs in the field of innovation and information technologies, on its agenda for the event, which will be called Angola Startup Summit 2022, which for Dalva Ringote, Secretary of State for the Economy, is “a business opportunity, sharing visions and business strategies”.
