The conference “Impact of the digitization of data and information on governance” was one of the highlights of the 2nd day of the 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), which started this Tuesday (18) and runs until Saturday, with the theme “Digital economy: the new frontier of the world economy".
Organized by the ministries of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication and of Justice and Human Rights, panel guests were unanimous in saying that ICTs are a means of leveraging the diversification of the economy in micro, small and medium-sized companies and development technological.
The role of the Credit Guarantee Fund in the diversification of the Economy and digital transformation was also another subject analyzed at the event, as well as the presentation sessions of the National Oil and Gas Agency (ANPG) and the state oil company Sonangol, in the panel with the theme “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence: threat or opportunity to the traditional training method”.

For the third day of the event, highlight among other activities, a business round table between the president of EximBank USA, Reta Jo Lewis, and a group of Angolan and American companies, on the sidelines of FILDA, an initiative of the Embassy of the States States of America (USA) in Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe, in Luanda.
According to figures released by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the event has confirmed the active participation of 13 countries and 16 Angolan provinces, being held once again in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo, in an exhibition area of 28 thousand meters squares.
From the communication sectors in Portugal to German technologies, FILDA 2023 will become an event in which 307 companies (twice the 624 of the previous year), of which 139 are foreign, will try to show their multisectoral internationalization potential. Friday and Saturday will be the days with the highest number of visitors to the exhibition, according to the organization.
