Technology disputes between the United States and China have won a tricky episode on Sunday (19 May 2019), when Google suspended Huawei's access to some of its services, such as support for Android.

Among the suspensions are transactions with Huawei that require the transfer of proprietary hardware and software, disrupting much of its smartphone business outside of China. The Chinese company loses access to future operating system updates beyond Android Open Source Project, according to the source, and future phones would need to run out of official apps like the Google Play Store and the gmail.

After this problem, Huawei gave its first response to Google's action: “Huawei has made substantial contributions to the development and growth of Android around the world. As one of Android's leading global partners, we work closely with the open source platform to develop an ecosystem that has benefited users and the industry. Huawei will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services for all existing products for Huawei and Honor smartphones and tablets, covering those that have been sold and are still in stock globally. We will continue to build a secure and sustainable software ecosystem in order to provide the best experience for all users globally. ”

It is important to remember that, recently, Huawei said it has developed its own operating systems in case it is prevented from using Android and Windows, it seems that the company was already predicting an event of this proportion.
