The Angolan Government recently launched the Support Program for Micro Entrepreneurship (PAME), which aims to support young entrepreneurs in several provinces of the country, such as Luanda, Benguela, Huíla, Huambo, Moxico and Uíge.

According to the information that MenosFios had access to, the project was launched by RETFOP (Project for the Revitalization of Technical Education and Professional Training in Angola) together with the support of INEFOP (National Institute of Employment and Professional Training), in an agreement with KixiCredit.

PAME's background is to support entrepreneurship and the creation of small businesses among Angolan youth, for the success of business initiatives developed by young people, from 18 to 35 years of age, and who have a Technical High School or Certificate of INEFOP Professional Training.

BUT: Young Angolan women trained in entrepreneurship

All PAME candidates will benefit from a microcredit and monitoring the management of their entrepreneurship businesses, and it provides for the training of INEFOP technicians and staff through the transfer of knowledge on monitoring entrepreneurship support processes, ensured by the KixiCrédito, which is the banking entity responsible for implementing the program.

It should also be noted that the program also provides for 40% of beneficiaries to be women. Learn more about the program by clicking on here.
