Hackers steal data from 35 PayPal customers

O PayPal went public to announce that it suffered a cyberattack and that, in December 2022, those responsible managed to steal personal information from more than 35 thousand users of the service.

According to CNet website, among the users' personal information are names, usernames, addresses, dates of birth and even social security numbers - There is no information that financial data of the users in question has been compromised.

PayPal will have already contacted affected customers and is providing guidelines on how to help protect their accounts, including changing passwords.
