Today, Tuesday, September 12th, is the day the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), will hold its annual event, which (by tradition) is the occasion chosen to officially unveil new products. Among them is, of course, the new iPhone and which promises to be (as usual) the highlight of the event.
A série iPhone 15 – as it is known until now – must have a total of four models: the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Rumors indicate that, unlike what happened with the iPhone 14, all new models will feature Dynamic Island and not just the Pro models. Another big change is the fact that, with this new generation, Apple changes the Lightning connector to the USB-C standard – with Apple complying with future European standards to adopt USB-C as the universal solution for all electronic devices.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models should have the Action button as a big new feature. This button, debuted with the Apple Watch Ultra last year, will replace the silent mode switch and should give users faster access to certain features, such as the camera.
However, the latest information also suggests that there will be a greater price difference between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in relation to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – which will be even more expensive than last year. Still, it is difficult to know whether this increase will only concern the USA or whether it will also be felt in other countries.
Another of Apple's new features should include Apple Watch watches. One of them will certainly be the Apple Watch Series 9, a new generation that should be entitled to some more 'shy' new features and, of course, the new processor that will help make the new model faster.
O Apple Watch Incredibly it will also, allegedly, be entitled to a new version and, like the Apple Watch Series 9, it should be entitled to new variants and colors. There are even those who say that Apple will debut a new way of joining the straps to the dial but, at the moment, it is still unclear whether this will happen.
Os AirPods and os AirPods Max There are other Apple products that should be entitled to new features. Rumors indicate that Apple's new wireless headphones will be able to assess body temperature and even have some more features dedicated to accessibility. On the other hand, it is not yet clear whether Apple will adopt USB-C instead of the Lightning connector.
Anyone who decides to attend the event should expect news about the next major updates to Apple's operating systems, namely the iOS 17: iPadOS 17: Watch 10, between others. O VisionPro, Apple's first augmented reality glasses, may also be entitled to another demonstration – especially considering that they are scheduled to be launched in early 2024.
