HP advises users not to go back to Windows 7

HP Vs Windows 8

A Microsoft (almost) always had good relations with the retail companies, in this list we find brands like HP, Toshiba and company. This good relationship between companies can be seen in the last few events where HP advised its corporate users not to rehash Windows 7 on computers that natively brought Windows 8.

Why would users want to go back to Windows 7?

Simple, adaptation is not easy. New operating system, new concepts. Many users will prefer to continue with Windows 7 which has already proved its good performance. Companies will not want to spend more money on training their employees to work with the Windows 8.

Microsoft allows you to downgrade, that is, corporate customers can replace a newer version of Windows with an older edition without paying for two copies. That's why HP's attitude surprised everyone.

Here is a transcript of HP's “announcement”:

HP does not recommend downgrade to all HP desktop and notebook consumer products. After 26's October 2012, HP desktop and notebook consumer products will ship only with Windows 8. Windows 7 will not have support for these new platforms, and there are no drivers, applications, or Windows 7 content will be available through HP. If the user chooses to downgrade his HP desktop consumer or notebook system, HP will continue to support the hardware, but if there is a problem where HP's diagnostics are required, or if it is considered that the software loaded or operating system update is causing the problem, HP may suggest a return to the original Windows 8 system that came with the computer.

In short, HP has sent a clear message to its corporate customers (which are not few): if you buy a PC with Windows 8, you will have to use it, or we will not be responsible for the support ...
