The social network Instagram was down, with users all over the world complaining about failing to update application information. It is not possible to see new images or upload images. The source of the problem is still unknown, but left the users of this social network without being able to access their accounts.
The live chart of Down Detector, website outage tracker, tracked a huge spike in user reports on Instagram at 8 am in the UK. About half of the reports are related to the fact that the news feed doesn't work properly, while another 30% are about login issues. And 18% of users complained that the site was not loading correctly.
Instagram has not yet officially commented the problem affected the network this morning of Wednesday.
