In 2009 the reports of a young Angolan who managed to achieve the highest certification in terms of computer networks (Cisco standard), came to cheer the Angolan tech community. It was Jeriel Atienza, the first Angolan CCIE.
After 9 years, the computer network specialist has achieved another milestone to reach the top of the “new” Cisco pyramid. Jeriel Atienza reached the last level of the level Cisco expert, which requires much theoretical knowledge, practical and market experience.
The Cisco Expert Level includes two major certifications: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) - reached in 2009- and the Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), obtained this year.
O CCDE identifies specialists who design infrastructure solutions for large enterprise environments that include technology, operations, business, and budget. The assigned professions are for network engineer and team leader. IT infrastructure.
Jeriel Atienza is 3xCCIE (Routing and Switching, Voice, Service Provider), thus achieves another impressive brand, becoming the first Angolan CCDE. Until the end of 2017 there were only 291 CCDEs worldwide.
Jeriel Atienza has a new description in the Cisco world: CCDE # 2018 :: 2, being only the second to be able to fulfill the requirements of this certification in 2018, that is, it now integrates a select list of 293 CCDEs.
Next possible step for Jeriel: CCAr (Cisco Certified Architect), the last level of the pyramid.
