FEAR Online, the new game in the series will be free-to-play and will be available on Steam on the 17th of this month. The game will feature a new horror setting, multiple multiplayer modes, new maps and a weapon customization system. According to the developer, the events take place at the same time as FEAR 2.
- In multiplayer we will find both competitive and cooperative modes.
- In cooperative mode, we can form teams of up to 4 players to investigate and collect information about the experiments done by Armacham Technology Corporation.
- And in competitive mode teams are pitted against each other, along with monsters and there will even be a mode where players can transform themselves into monsters.
For those who want to try out, an open beta will be available on 8 this month and the developer encourages those interested to register on your website.
